    EMPLOYEE BENEFITS INNOVATOR:

    Andrew is not only an innovator, he is also been credited with making changes to corporations Employee Benefit Packages that prevented the continuing strike and was instrumental in the use of the concept of securing the corporate pension fund at Toyota South Africa, by loaning funds to the employees to enable them to purchase homes.

    • The secured loans with the pension capital were guaranteed to the fund
      • by an endowment
      • with death
      • and disability cover to the value of the loan amount.
    • Thus repaying the total debt in the event of member’s
      • premature death
      • or disability
      • and either the member
      • or his widow
    • would receive a fully paid home and a normal pension payout
      • in the event of retirement the endowment matures paying off the debt and
      • the remainder of the endowment is paid to the member as a Tax-Free income
    • If the debt was repaid from a loan on the endowment
      • then the pension capital and
      • any other taxable funds would be paid to the endowment loan and
    • all the income would then be Tax-Free
  • Andrew inherited a portfolio of over 140,000 families with Toyota South Africa because of this transaction that Andrew later transferred to other brokers for help with service.
